This was my first shoot for the CPA, their Spring Lunch at the Dorchester, a venue I know well. It went extremely well and was very enjoyable. The lunch started with a drinks reception, then onto the meal after an introduction by Dr Diana Montgomery, the CPA Chief Executive. Guests then got on with the business of enjoying themselves.
The Dorchester ballroom is a great venue to shoot in for me as a London event photographer. With plenty of light and only a very small bit of flash needed every now and then, I was able to move among the guests without them really noticing me. All the better to capture some great candid shots of guests having a good time.
Sir Vince Cable was the after dinner speaker to what was clearly a successful lunch.
